I GOT HIRED AT MAGGIANO’S
After four long months of unemployment, I now have the pleasure of paying taxes again! Today I was hired at Maggiano’s as a server. Or a waitress, as I prefer to call myself. (I think the term “server” should exclusively be used in regards to technology.)
This looks SO DELICIOUS!
Thankfully I don’t really gain weight from working in restaurants. (I prefer to gain weight from being a drunk or eating my feelings.) But if there ever was a restaurant where I might gain weight, this would be it. Everything is super American-Italian-y. Cheese, pasta, cream, some more cheese, topped off with an unhealthy amount of bread. Well, learning the menu looks like it’s going to be a bitch, so I better get cracking!
